【 WORLD INFO 】
Iseul exists in a world that looks and feels like our modern 21st century one; the only difference being that creatures of myth and legend also exist. Most in secret, living side-by-side with humanity. Others live more openly, being the cause of or, at least, melding into local lore and superstitions. Iseul is Fae and essentially immortal, so he can be plopped in any historical period or fantasy/high fantasy setting.
【 BACKGROUND 】
Unlike many of his Unseelie kith, Iseul eschews the magical world of the Fae for a large and very gothic residence he maintains in the human world. Here he met and has engaged in a centuries-long rivalry with a vampire wherein each tries to gain dominion over the other. Before and between their game, he established himself a highly sought-after fashion designer to clients both human and supernatural. Renown for his elaborate designs, he's become the preferred dresser for the Unseelie royalty and a majority of nobles from both Courts.
【 FIRST IMPRESSIONS 】
Goth. So very goth. There are jokes among his local supernatural community that he was born to be a vampire, not one of the Fae. A bit of an irony considering his vampire rival is a bit of a outlier of his kind (perhaps he was born to be Fae). Iseul's pale with black hair and silvery grey eyes. He is rarely seen with his wings on display, opting to keep them hidden with illusionary magic. It is exceedingly rare to see Iseul dressed in any color other than black. The exception being any jewelry or accessories, though those also tend to fall in the spectrum of the Gothic RainbowTM: black, shades of grey, deep, saturated reds and violets, and white. Iseul is not emotive and speaks in a monotone. Despite this, he is civil and always keenly aware of the laws of hospitality, be his host or guest.
【 PERSONALITY 】
Cold, distant, but civil. Iseul often keeps to himself, typically caught up in his designs, spending little time among his fellow Fae, other supernaturals, or among humans. Outside of his clients, a string of casual lovers, and his occasional parties, Iseul remains pleasantly isolated. He finds joy in the beauty of textiles, home decor, and his well-cultivated gardens.
Monotone and reserved, he often comes off as uninterested and borderline rude. If he's accused of being rudeness, someone will die on that hill (and it won't be him). Iseul has little patience for the machinations and manipulations of his fellow Fae and only enjoys such games with his vampire rival. He's a lot like an 80-year-old grandpa when it comes to technology, slang, and modern humor.

【 ABILITIES & WEAKNESSES 】
In terms of mundane skills and abilities, Iseul is a top-tier clothing designer. This ranges from conceptualization, artistic renderings, and the actual construction of his pieces. He is also an excellent gardener and cultivates a vast series of gardens on his estate. He could make a living as an interior designer, as well, but he'd rather focus on clothing than furnishings and paint colors.
As one of the Unseelie Fae, Iseul has mastery over illusionary and ice magics. He rarely uses either for anything major that would catch human attention. It's mostly to mask his wings (illusion) and perhaps chill a drink for a guest (ice). His abilities are stronger during the dark half of the year, when the Unseelie have dominion over their world.

【 SHIPPING 】
Most of Iseul's relationships are superficial, however I am open to writing him in a more serious romantic relationship, as well (if you are not playing his vampire rival, that character will be a significant NPC). Iseul finds himself attracted to others regardless of gender expression. He's also open to shipping with humans or other supernatural creatures.
